Pre and Post Operative P.T. Treatment
If you have an upcoming orthopedic surgery or joint replacement, let Anderson & Cattone PT be your “prehabilitation" and post-surgical rehabilitation physical therapy providers.
“Prehab" explained: Prehabilitation is when a patient comes to PT prior to their surgery in order to learn exercises for increased strength and mobility as well as how to navigate activities of daily living that they might not be able to do accomplish in the same manner after surgery. Research shows that improving strength and mobility prior to certain orthopedic surgeries results in improved function post-surgery. (Moyer, 2017). Using NeuFit Neubie technology available at our clinic, it is possible to reduce muscle guarding and tone allowing an easier surgery with improved outcomes. After surgery our therapists will take you through the optimal rehabilitation to exceed your former level of performance and function.
Our PT’s have a great deal of experience preparing patients for surgery because we understand the needs of the post-surgical patient and how to achieve the optimal results in the shortest amount of time. We work with your doctor to provide a personalized plan including exercise, posture/balance and gait training, pain management, education and manual work. We also have the NEUFIT NEUBIE which sets us apart, which can reset your nervous system to permanantly erase the pain and disfunction in just a few sessions. Anderson & Cattone Physical Therapy understand that you want to get back to your life and activities as soon as possible and will do all we can in order to get you ready.
